Welcome to our December newsletter for residents about the Sloane Street Future project

The public realm works are now almost completed with only some snagging works to come. Thank you all for your patience during the programme and we do hope you’ll agree that the street is looking better than ever.

    Sloane Street Transformation

    Sloane Street North and South Retail Areas

    FM Conway has completed the infill paving for the Virgin Media cabinet outside Hermes. The works in all the retail areas have now been completed and the traffic management / barriers have been removed. FM Conway will return in January 2025 for any required snagging works.

    Cadogan Place Gardens

    RBKC works are ongoing in the central section of Sloane Street to complete the final area of Yorkstone paving. This is due to be completed this week.

    Due to a slight delay with Thames Water to connect the new drinking fountain supply, the raised granite table across the Cadogan Place South junction with Sloane Street is due to be completed in January 2025.

    FM Conway Storage Compounds

    The compounds have now been removed at Cadogan Square and Lowndes Square.

    The final compound at Hans Place will be removed imminently.

    Cleaning

    Please note, there will be a deep clean of Sloane Street in early 2025, as well as the start of Cadogan-funded, daily litter picking from all planters and plant pots on the street.

      At our next residents’ meeting

      Thank you to those who attended the Sloane Street Residents Meeting on Tuesday 1 October to receive a project update and discuss the public realm works. Following feedback from residents, we have increased the frequency of these meetings from quarterly to every other month. These dates will be publicised through the newsletter and on our website.

      The next meeting will be held on 9th December 2024, 6pm–7pm.
