Sloane Street Transformation

North Sloane Street

Following the carriageway resurfacing works in the northern section of Sloane Street, the green barrier removal is already underway, and there is already a reduction where footway works are complete.  The barrier removal will continue between now and the Christmas light switch-on as further work areas are finished.

RBKC is installing the thin paver tiles in the northern section and paving works are progressing well outside the Jumeirah Carlton Tower service entrance. The granite blocks are now being installed outside Hermès, as well as nearing completion at the Pont Street junction. Also here, TfL are installing the new intelligent adaptive traffic signals that enable optimisation of green time for all street users, including pedestrians, bicycles, buses and cars in a world first. This new system will deliver improved journey times, traffic flows and responses to incidents.

Cadogan Place Gardens

RBKC works are ongoing alongside Cadogan Gardens. There are just six more planters remaining to be installed.

South Sloane Street

The final granite blocks are now being installed outside Diptyque, with works ongoing to complete the granite raised table across Sloane Terrace, outside Jo Malone London.

The carriageway resurfacing at the southern end of Sloane Street was able to be completed earlier than expected and the removal of the green barriers will continue between now and the Christmas light switch-on, as further work areas are finished.
